FAQ’s

  • No, you will be working on your own hands and/or practice hands.

You must attend all courses except e-file with bare nails. This is a requirement from TGB to pass the course.

If you are attending the E-file course you are required to have BIAB, Hard Gel or Acrylic on your nails. We do not allow models, so please don’t bring any friends along, just yourself!

  • Yes, practical work will be carried out on yourself or practice hands.

Depending on time and class numbers, you may be offered the opportunity to practice on other students, which you can opt-out of.

You must attend all courses except e-file with bare nails.

  • If you have ordered a kit via TGB Academy, your kit will be delivered to NAF! School ready for you to use upon arrival to your course.

We will not release kits unless students have completed the course and received their certificate.

Kit lists can be found by scrolling down this page.

  • TGB Academy course bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

We may be able to reschedule students onto new course dates in extenuating circumstances where sufficient notice is provided.

Please email info@nafschool.com ASAP if you need to reschedule.

  • There will be a lunch break. You can bring your own packed lunch or head to one of the local shops or cafes we have nearby.

There’s a Tesco, Greggs, and Caffè Nero all within a 5–10 minute walk, and lots of Deliveroo options if you’d prefer to order in.

If you're attending both BIAB and E-File on the same day, we’d suggest bringing lunch with you just in case as BIAB can occasionally run over, and your break might be a little shorter (around 30 minutes). We have fridges on-site, so you’re welcome to store your lunch during the day.

  • We have no set dress code! We recommend wearing something you're comfortable in and is safe to work with the various nail products in.

For those with long hair, we recommend bringing a hair bobble/hair band so your hair is kept safe! You may be asked to wear a mask and gloves which will be provided by us, however this is not mandatory.

  • Yes, please take the time to thoroughly read through the Health and Safety manual prior to attending your course so we have plenty of time for practical learning. You will be assessed on its content over the duration of your course.

  • You will be able to shop NAF! Pro products with an exclusive 25% student discount for the duration of your course.

Once you’ve completed a course with us you’re entitled to 15% off your next 3 TGB orders using the discount code EducatorNAF15.

  • We are located in an old Victorian townhouse with stairs both at the entrance and inside the building, making us inaccessible for wheelchair users. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

While we've made efforts to improve and continue to strive for enhanced accessibility, significant changes to the building are not feasible, and our current facilities may not meet all needs.

Please be aware that the Classroom is situated on the top floor of our building.

  • Let us know if there is anything weshould be aware of before your course date e.g. allergies & if you have any questions before then, don’t hesitate to ask!

Please be aware NAF! School is in House of NAF!, a dog friendly building 🐾

Code of Conduct

NAF! School is a safe and inclusive learning environment so we ask that everyone who steps through our door is helping to foster this through their behaviour, actions and language.

  • Listen to and respect anyone speaking, be that your educator, member of staff or fellow student.

  • We ask that you are respectful to all members of staff that contact you via phone or email, before or after your course.

  • Respect & use your educators and fellow students pronouns correctly. We all slip up sometimes but we ask that everyone tries their best to avoid misgendering.

  • Respect your educators by coming to your course on time, prepared and ready to learn. Have your full kit list and questions prepared to make the best of the experience.

  • Fill out any required paperwork or forms we provide to ensure we can keep you safe in our space.

  • Help us spread positivity by not badmouthing any brand, organisation or individual while in the learning space and beyond.

If for whatever reason, the NAF! School team deems any behaviour or language inappropriate, we reserve the right to use our 3 strike system. This means if 3 issues arise over any course, number of courses, we will politely ask that students do not attend future courses with us.

Health & Safety Policies

  • Practical work will be carried out on yourself or practice hands. Depending on time and class numbers, you may be offered the opportunity to practice on other students, which you can opt-out of.

  • We require you to complete the Pre-Course Form, that is emailed to you a week prior to the start of your course. This form goes over allergies, additional learning requirements etc. Thus, it is essential you complete this before arriving for your course.

  • We ask that every person in the NAF! School training facility, be that staff, students and the like, follow the NAF! School Code of Conduct and help us foster a safe and positive environment for everyone.

  • Students will only be able to take away their kits once they have fully completed the course and its qualification requirements. This is particularly important given the chemicals and products provided and ensuring safe use at all times.
